What is DisDads Convention?
In January of each year (during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend) a group of dads, know as DisDads, gather at Walt Disney World to socialize and have some fun. Since 2013 we have gathered and this event has grown in size each year.
2022 will be our 10th anniversary! January 5 – 9 are our “official” dates. Several Dads extend their stay by coming in early or staying late.
Convention Info
There is NO COST to attend, other than your own park tickets, personal meals and your lodging cost.

Convention Shirts
We plan to have a few shirts for park days and one “dated’ Convention/ GKTW day shirt… Shirts will be approximately $15 each with sized xxxl and up costing extra. You can order the shirts off

Dining Reservations (ADRs)
We will be making Dining Reservations for our group meals (see Agenda page). If you want to be included in these meals, add yourself to the ADR list. Space is limited at some locations. Also, if you have other meals/dessert parties/dinner shows that you plan to attend, please let us all know – there may be other Dads who want to join you!
Theme/Color Day
Some years we plan a few theme days, or color days. Whether it’s dressing up as dwarves, or wearing our DisDads Club shirts, it can be fun to get recognized for our brotherhood! Check out the Agenda for this year’s plans!
FastPass+ Planning
In between our Dole Whips and shenanigans, we occasionally like to take in an attraction or two (or six). There are few activities that are more fun that filling an entire Big Thunder Mountain train with DisDads! These group-rides make great photo opportunities and memories. If available we’ll be planning several FastPasses in order to help facilitate group rides during the Convention. Check out the FastPass+ page to see which attractions we’re excited to take over!
